Welcome to Quiz: Which 'Eternals' Character Are You

Eternals is a superhero flick from Marvel. It follows a bunch of immortals who have been on Earth forever. They unite to fight old foes, Deviants. With big names like Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden, Eternals looks set to be a wild ride in Marvel’s universe. Get ready for some action and drama!

Meet the characters from Eternals

Sersi

Sersi is the heart-on-her-sleeve, museum-loving, matter-bending dreamer of the group — she genuinely adores people and plants and could spend an afternoon rearranging atoms for fun. She’s warm and empathetic but also sneaks in this stubborn, almost fierce protectiveness that surprises you when she snaps (in the best way). Loves small talk and pottery and somehow knows a useless fact about every city she visits. Also, she’s way more of a fighter than she looks — gentle, yes, but also quietly unbreakable, which is maybe the point.

Ikaris

Ikaris is the stoic, laser-eyed poster child for “duty first,” all posture and precision and very dramatic stares into sunsets. He gives off that rigid, exact kind of honor — like someone who irons his feelings — but every so often there’s this flash of loneliness and confusion that makes him weirdly sympathetic. Kind of brooding, definitely intense, and yes he will judge your life choices but probably save you from a falling skyscraper first. Also, rumor has it he has a soft spot for old classical music and an alarmingly tidy sock drawer.

Thena

Thena is the elegant, lethal warrior with a tragic streak — artful in battle, graceful in everything, and sometimes brittle like glass but also steel underneath. She’s got this quiet dryness and dark humor that sneaks up on you; one minute she’s speaking softly about history, the next she’s demolishing an army. There’s a sadness to her that makes her beautiful in a kind of heartbreaking way, and she’s also secretly into tiny, impractical trinkets for reasons she won’t explain. Contradictory alert: both ethereal and bloodthirsty, which somehow works.

Ajak

Ajak is the calm, guiding presence — kind of like everyone’s wise aunt crossed with an interstellar counselor who happens to know cosmic things. They carry this authority and warmth at the same time, soothing but firm, and you totally trust Ajak to hand you tea and a life-changing prophecy. Sometimes distant, sometimes annoyingly present, and occasionally prone to very small, very random hobbies (crossword puzzles at 3 a.m.??). Also, they have a voice that makes even paperwork sound epic.

Dane Whitman

Dane is the awkwardly charming archaeologist who stumbles into destiny while wearing sensible sweaters and a worried face. He’s bookish and a little hesitant to be a hero — like, can we schedule bravery? — but his loyalty is huge and he’s unexpectedly brave when it counts. He collects odd souvenirs (mysterious keys, emotional baggage) and has this tender, confused energy that makes you root for him. Also: broody, yes, but pure-hearted; will cry about a historical artifact and then swing a sword like he’s always known how.

Kingo

Kingo is the glam Bollywood-style showman who would absolutely red carpet in battle armor and still make the best one-liners. Flashy, charismatic, and egotistical in the most entertaining way, he lives for the spotlight but somehow also loves small, mundane pleasures like perfect tea or a quiet comic book — weird combo, I know. He shoots fireworks with panache and probably has more sequins than sense, yet he’s fiercely loyal and hilarious when things get serious. Basically, equal parts action star and internet persona, but with a soft corner for family photos.

Sprite

Sprite is the forever-child immortal who looks like a kid and uses that to very dramatic, mischievous effect — clever, annoyed, and sometimes a little vengeful when not getting her way. She’s petty but also heartbreakingly lonely; imagine being ancient and having to explain existential crises in a voice that sounds twelve. Loves art and pranks, hates being told to sit down, and curiously keeps a tiny sketchbook full of weirdly profound doodles. Tiny contradictions everywhere: childlike tantrums paired with painfully ancient wisdom.

Phastos

Phastos is the brilliant, soft-spoken inventor who builds wonders and then lies awake wondering about the consequences, which is both noble and a little tragic. He’s warm, reliably kind, and has that domestic, dad-vibes genius who will fix your toaster and also design a futuristic city on the side. Loves gadgets, vintage sneakers, and making playlists for different moods (industrial melancholy is a real thing, apparently). Quirk: socially awkward at parties but somehow the best host you’ll ever have — seriously, he plans the snacks.
