Maria

Maria is fierce in a soft way — like a storm that also bakes cookies, except sometimes the cookies are bitter and she apologizes for that? She’s the kind of person who remembers your birthday but forgets her own keys every day, which is maddeningly charming. Protective, practical, and quick to call people out (with affection hiding in the elbow jab), she’s the glue and the wrench at the same time.
