Meet the characters from Love, Victor

Victor Salazar

Victor is the beating, awkward-heart center of the show — earnest, loud in his feelings and constantly trying to figure himself out (he hums showtunes when nervous, true story). He’s ridiculously brave for his age and also wildly uncertain, which makes him both charming and a walking emotional spreadsheet of “what ifs.” Family means everything to him; he will defend his people and also dramatically overthink one text for three days. He loves playlists like they are religions, and he has a weird soft spot for really bad cereal commercials. Somehow he can be dramatic and tender at once, and you just root for him even when he throws his phone across the room.

Lake Meriwether

Lake is fire wrapped in sarcasm and a million tiny truths, you know that friend who says the thing everyone else is thinking but somehow makes it cute. She’s fiercely loyal, practical, a little rough around the edges, and secretly loves romantic movies even though she’ll deny it with a smirk. Also that’s the person who will drag you out of a rut with one brutally honest text and then bring you green juice at 10 a.m., like, contradictory but perfect. Tiny detail — she collects mismatched earrings and will absolutely beat you at Mario Kart.

Andrew

Andrew is the steady, soft-spoken one with the smoldering stare and the kind of patience you can’t fake, honestly. He seems quiet but there are layers — he’s protective, borderline stubborn, and melts into a doofy grin when he knows he’s allowed to be vulnerable. He has weirdly specific taste in coffee, argues about dog breeds for fun, and will defend his friends with literal earnestness. Sometimes he seems older than he is, sometimes like an amused teenager, it’s confusing in a very charming way.

Benjamin Campbell

Benjamin is flamboyant, dramatic, and full of theatrical energy; imagine glitter with a side of actual heart. He loves attention in the best possible way and will make a scene if it means someone feels seen — also cries at commercials, I swear. He’s confident and anxious at the same time, a walking contradiction who wears bold jackets and sometimes hides little doubts behind a joke. Little random fact: he hoards scarves and names them, probably.

Mia Brooks

Mia is practical, fiercely smart, and has zero patience for nonsense — which makes her both a grounding force and secretly a tiny tornado when she gets passionate. She’s supportive without being saccharine, holds people accountable, and has very specific opinions about pizza toppings (fight me). She can be blunt and kind in the same breath, and she’s the kind of friend who organizes your life whether you asked for it or not. Oh and she may or may not have a hidden tattoo she refuses to talk about, which is delightfully annoying.

Isabel Salazar

Isabel is fire-and-steel with a velvet lining — sharp, decisive, and fiercely ambitious but also weirdly nostalgic about old family recipes. She runs things, sometimes a little too hard, and you get the sense she’s carrying generations on her shoulders (which she does, dramatically). She’s principled and sometimes scary-sensible, but also the one who’ll text you a playlist at 2 a.m. to fix your mood. Fun inconsistency: she claims she hates sweets but always has cookies in her purse.

Armando Salazar

Armando is the epitome of strict-love, stern face with this overwhelmingly big-soft core — like a grumpy dad bear who cooks amazing breakfasts. He wants the best for his kids in a very serious, often loud way, but his gestures (even when he’s awkward about them) are full of warmth. He can be traditional and stubborn, and then surprise you by doing something spontaneous, like karaoke at a family party (no, really). Also he probably cries during old soccer games, which is a weird image but believable.

Felix Weston

Felix is the dramatic best friend who’s equal parts loud humor and honest tenderness, the kind of person who turns heartbreak into a perfectly timed quip. He’s messy and loyal, has an unhealthy relationship with late-night snacks, and will bench-press your emotional baggage without asking. He’s theatrical on the outside but actually soft as marshmallow on the inside, with the occasional philosophical rant about life at 3 a.m. Small weird detail: he collects novelty mugs with faces on them and talks to them sometimes, but only when no one is around.

Pilar Salazar

Pilar is the warm, steady center of the family — endlessly compassionate, quietly fierce, and the person who somehow knows what everyone needs before they do. She’s calming but not a pushover, speaks her mind gently, and will roast you lovingly while feeding you empanadas. She has an uncanny memory for birthdays and bad haircuts, which is both sweet and slightly frightening. Also rumor has it she has a secret salsa recipe that could end wars, but maybe that’s just dramatic talk.

Adrian Salazar

Adrian is the broody little brother who acts like he hates everything but will defend you with small, meaningful actions — sort of grumpy-cute, honestly. He’s sarcastic, sharp, and surprisingly observant, like the kid who notices details adults miss, and then uses them to tease you. He’s got big anxieties and big loyalty, awkwardly expressive and loves vintage jackets for reasons he won’t explain. Quirk: he keeps a notebook of oddly specific compliments and reads them when he’s embarrassed, which may or may not be true.
