Meet the characters from Ant-Man and the Wasp

Scott Lang/Ant-Man

Scott is the lovable chaos magnet who somehow ends up saving the day with a snack in one hand and an improbable plan in the other. He’s a reluctant hero, an ex-con turned dad-hero who fumbles through responsibility but has this huge, stubborn heart beneath the wisecracks. Shrinking and growing is his gig, but honestly half the time he’s just trying not to trip over his own cape — and he totally hums old 80s jams when he’s nervous, I swear. He’s absurdly inventive in a pinch (MacGyver + dad jokes), and also somehow keeps a surprisingly meticulous sock drawer — like, how?

Hope van Dyne/The Wasp

Hope is laser-focused, supremely competent, and low-key terrifying when she gets annoyed (which is often, but deservedly). She’s the tactical brain and disciplined fighter — think grace, precision, and zero tolerance for nonsense — but also secretly collects tiny glass animals? Don’t ask. As the Wasp she’s agile and authoritative, a leader who expects results and gives them, yet she can be unexpectedly soft when it comes to family stuff, which she mostly hides under a very cool stare. Her moral compass is sharp, and her wardrobe is somehow battle-ready and chic at once, because of course.

Cassie Lang

Cassie is that sparkly, fierce kid genius who admires her dad but is way more capable than anyone gives her credit for — stubborn, brave, and prone to dramatic eye rolls. She tinkers with gadgets like it’s a hobby and a full-time emotional outlet, leaves stickers everywhere, and definitely has a secret stash of tiny superhero merch. Teen energy with real-world smarts; she’s the kind of person who will prank someone mid-battle and then patch up their armor without blinking. Also, she oscillates between being annoyingly grounded and ridiculously idealistic, which is adorable and terrifying depending on the day.

Kang the Conqueror

Kang is the walking, timestream-warping headache of a villain who plans centuries ahead and keeps receipts for every possible timeline (literally). He’s coldly intellectual, terrifying in his patience, and mesmerically arrogant — like, he could monologue about causality at dinner and you’d still be creeped out. There’s this weird little thing where he collects antique teacups? Or was that another variant — either way, he has odd hobbies that humanize him in a creepily effective way. He flips between charming politeness and absolute ruthlessness, which makes him equal parts fascinating and absolutely dangerous.
