Nurit

Nurit is the quietly fierce kind of person who somehow holds the whole world together while pretending she’s just making coffee — you can always tell she’s the emotional gravity of the group. She’s warm but has this steel core, like smiling while writing down a list of things that will ruin your day (in a good way?), and she’s not afraid to say the thing everyone else is tiptoeing around. Sometimes she seems soft and homely, other times she’s sharper than a radio static burst; it’s confusing and brilliant. Oh, and she’s probably got an old cookbook full of family secrets and a surprising stash of really bad puns.

Gali Kavillio

Gali is that restless spirit who laughs too loud and then disappears for three days to “clear her head” and comes back with a plan — always with a cigarette that she denies she smokes. She’s street-smart, sarcastic, and oddly maternal in the most chaotic way, stepping into danger with a grin like it’s a dare she’s been waiting for her whole life. She can be impulsive (okay, very impulsive), but also weirdly strategic when it counts, which makes her both infuriating and indispensable. Also, she collects mismatched earrings and will absolutely beat you at pool while giving you life advice.

Hertzel ‘Steve’ Pinto

Steve — or Hertzel, depending on which story you’re hearing — is the grizzled, world-weary operator with a soft spot for old rock music and newer pastries; yes he’s contradictory and yes it works. He’s reliable in a firefight and annoyingly sentimental off-duty, telling stories that may or may not be true but are always entertaining (exaggeration is his cardio). He’s the kind of guy who makes a joke in the middle of chaos and then quietly babysits the paperwork like a saint; also, he claims to hate technology but somehow has ten different encrypted apps.

Doron Kavillio

Doron is the classic unshakable leader — intense, precise, the person you want in front of a problem and the person who will also make you feel guilty for blinking. He operates with laser focus and a weirdly tender stubbornness, like he’s carrying a whole history in his shoulders and occasionally lets it spill into small, quiet gestures. He can be reckless in ways that feel inevitable (and dramatic, of course), but he’s also the moral compass that sometimes bends, which is what makes him endlessly interesting. And yes, he probably has a ridiculous coffee order and hums ancient lullabies when no one’s watching.

Gabi ‘Captain Eyov’

Gabi — aka Captain Eyov — is the buttoned-up commander who reads the map like it’s a novel and judges you for your shoelaces, but in a charming, oddly paternal way. He’s bureaucratic enough to make paperwork look sexy (don’t ask how) and tough enough to throw you into the deep end if he thinks you’ll swim — sometimes a little too quickly. There’s a stubborn streak and a secret love for cheesy romantic movies that he would deny until his dying day, and somehow that contradiction makes him both intimidating and very human. Also, he carries a lucky coin that he swears by and forgets where he puts it half the time.
