Welcome to Quiz: Broad City Which Character Are You

Broad City shows two best friends, Abbi and Ilana, tackling life in New York. Bold humor, relatable moments. It’s got a huge fanbase and lots of praise. The series captures young adulthood’s highs and lows, with all its messy struggles and attempts to have fun. It’s a ride, for sure.

Meet the characters from Broad City

Abbi Abrams

Okay, Abbi is the delightfully anxious, quietly ambitious one — she’s artsy, kind of neurotic in the best way, and always trying to be the “grown-up” while somehow ending up on weird adventures. She has this planner she never shuts up about but somehow still loses her keys daily (it’s a vibe). She’s loyal to a fault and loves small town nostalgia stuff but will also binge a true-crime podcast at 2 a.m. and pretend she’s totally chill about it. Also, she paints? Or used to? Sometimes she claims she hates karaoke but will absolutely sing if guilted.

Todd

Todd is that low-key, lovable weirdo who shows up with a ridiculous shirt and a completely earnest pep talk — you can’t help but like him, even when he’s saying something slightly off. He’s kind of a mystery, equal parts sweet and slightly chaotic, like a golden retriever who read a philosophy book once. He’s into odd hobbies (I’m pretty sure he collects novelty spoons or maybe it was records?) and every time he appears the room gets a little softer. Also, for reasons I can’t fully explain, he probably eats cereal for dinner on purpose and calls it “self-care.”

Ilana Wexler

Ilana is pure, untamable energy — loud, fearless, brilliant in the way she launches into schemes that somehow work half the time and are a glorious disaster the rest. She’s the friend who makes you do things you didn’t know you needed, loves weed, and believes every problem can be solved with an extravagant plan and a weirdly specific snack. She’s wildly loyal, annoyingly optimistic, and also kind of profound sometimes (like, out of nowhere she’ll drop a truth bomb that sticks). Also she’s messy but has a weirdly curated hat collection and swears she can fall asleep anywhere — including subway benches, which may or may not be true.

Trey Pucker

Trey is smooth, glamorous, a little too polished, like someone who always smells faintly of expensive cologne and regret — but honestly in the coolest way. He flirts like it’s an art form and has a laugh that makes people forgive his questionable life choices. Deep down there’s vulnerability, though; behind the sunglasses he’s probably reading poetry between photoshoots or whatever he’s pretending not to do. Also, small detail: he’s totally into artisanal hot sauce and will judge your condiment choices.

Lincoln Rice

Lincoln is the quietly confident type — professional, put-together, the sort who texts in full sentences and drinks black coffee like it’s a ritual. He can be charmingly awkward when forced into big emotional moments, which makes him unexpectedly human and kind of a cinnamon roll. He likes spreadsheets but will also take you to a weird indie jazz night on a whim, which feels random but somehow right. One minute he’s perfectly composed, the next he’s quoting a stupid meme he swore he’d never know — adorable contradiction.

Matt Bevers

Matt is sweet and a touch painfully earnest, the “nice guy” who actually means it and it’s refreshing and slightly terrifying. He’s thoughtful, maybe a little boring on paper, but he’s got these surprising bursts of goofiness — like he’ll show up with an elaborate sandwich and a terrible joke and you just melt. He’s the kind of friend who remembers weird anniversaries and will help you move at 2 a.m. while listening to an aggressively bad playlist. Also rumor has it he has an impressive sock collection or he once taught himself to juggle; my memory’s fuzzy but both feel true.

Jaimé Castro

Jaimé is dramatic, magnetic, and theatrical in the most charming way — she’s the person who walks into a room and you immediately feel slightly underdressed. She’s bold, unapologetic, and has opinions on everything from music to the correct way to fold a fitted sheet (she’s intense about linen). There’s a softer side, though; when she’s real with you she’s incredibly generous and weirdly sentimental about small things like movie stubs. Also, she’s a taco enthusiast who will stage an elaborate taco night and then dramatically declare it a cultural event — and somehow you’ll go along with it because she’s irresistible.
