Welcome to Quiz: Good Trouble Which Character Are You

Good Trouble spins off from The Fosters. It dives into lives of two sisters, Callie and Mariana, in their twenties, living it up in Los Angeles. They tackle love, jobs and social justice stuff. Themes of family and identity pop up everywhere. This show connects with many thanks to its relatable characters and gripping stories. You might even find yourself laughing or crying along the way. It’s a real ride!

Meet the characters from Good Trouble

Davia

Davia is the quietly fierce heart of the crew, the one who somehow keeps everything from falling apart while pretending it’s no big deal. She’s practical, stubborn in the sweetest way, and will absolutely call you out if you’re being dramatic — lovingly, of course. Also, she bakes at midnight when stressed (I swear this is canon in my head), but she’ll also create color-coded plans like she’s starting a small nation. There’s this steady reliability to her that makes you feel safer and also a little bit guilty for relying on her so much.

Gael

Gael is the charming wildcard who makes you laugh and then makes a very pointed political observation two minutes later — total mood. He’s got this fluid confidence, a little theatrical, and completely unafraid to flirt with chaos (in a hot, annoying way). Honestly, he can be infuriatingly cool and also unexpectedly vulnerable about tiny things, like crying during commercials or hoarding houseplants. He’s the friend who’ll drag you to a protest and then DJ the afterparty, sometimes in the same outfit.

Malika

Malika is brilliant, fiery, and snacks-and-poster-board obsessed — like activism and spreadsheets had a very caffeinated child. She’s outspoken, principled, and will Google every single thing to prove a point (and then email you receipts at 2 AM). She’s the kind of person who reads the room, then re-teaches the room to be better, and yes she does have a playlist for every mood, including “off my soapbox.” Occasionally she’s stubborn to the point of adorable absurdity, like refusing to use a planner then making a three-part manifesto about not using planners.

Callie

Callie is relentless in the best possible way — legal brain, big heart, and a chaotic personal life that somehow fuels her brilliance. She’s empathetic and stubbornly idealistic, which gets her into trouble but also makes her unbelievably effective; she’s the person you want arguing your case and then leading the community bake sale. She can be impulsive (like, “quit your job” impulsive) but also meticulous in court documents, which is baffling and perfect. There’s this blend of mess-and-mastery about her — messy hair, exacting arguments — and it’s ridiculously endearing.

Dennis

Dennis is the loveable hot mess with a heart made of gold and a calendar that’s purely aspirational. He’s earnest, awkward in the cutest way, and somehow deeply thoughtful even when he’s saying the wrong thing; you can see him trying, you know? He’s loyal to a fault and will defend his friends loudly while also being terrible at personal boundaries (or maybe that’s just him being generous). Also he has this weird habit of collecting novelty mugs — some are sentimental, none match, all displayed proudly.

Evan

Evan is low-key the emotional core and also a walking Venn diagram of gentle sarcasm and quiet ambition. He’s smart, kind, and perpetually on the verge of a pep talk for you; he seems like someone who keeps a journal and also forgets his own lunch. He handles pressure with a kind of grim humor, but don’t be fooled — he cares deeply and it shows in the small things he does, like remembering people’s birthdays and anxiously overwatering plants. He can surprise you with stubbornness too; he’s not a pushover, even when he pretends to be.

Isaac

Isaac is brilliant, fierce, and the definition of controlled chaos — a little aloof but actually very attached in the best ways. He’s principled, an organizer who will stay up all night drafting plans and then take a nap like it’s an art form. There’s a dry wit to him, a blink-and-you-miss-it eyebrow raise, and also surprising softness when someone he cares about is hurting (cue soft music, honestly). He’s secretly sentimental about weird things, like keeping a crumpled concert ticket in his wallet, which is wildly out of character and delightful.

Jamie

Jamie is chaotic-good incarnate, a whirlwind of ideas, DIY energy, and a tendency to overshare in the best possible way. She’s passionate, a little rebellious, and will build a community garden out of spare parts and enthusiasm if you give her ten minutes. She’s also the friend who cries at the drop of a hat and then three minutes later is organizing a themed fundraising event — emotional whiplash, but in a great way. Confusing? Maybe. Endearing? Absolutely.

Alice

Alice is quietly brilliant and a little mysterious — like, she seems soft but will absolutely set boundaries and then go home to craft something wildly specific. She’s empathetic and observant, the person who notices the small things (you didn’t drink your water today? she noticed) and then does something practical about it. She can be unexpectedly blunt, which is a wild contrast to her warm, cuddly vibe, and also collects obscure houseplants that may or may not be alive. She gives off this calming energy but will roast you lovingly if you deserve it.

Mariana

Mariana is sparkly energy with a backbone of steel — fierce, creative, and allergic to injustice (metaphorically and maybe literally, who knows). She’s a designer-at-heart, speaks honestly, and makes friends like she’s collecting favorite songs; every person is a new track. She’s hot-headed sometimes (passion, not temper), then immediately apologetic and making playlists as penance, which is somehow her thing. She’s all flair and heart, dramatic in tight doses and deeply loyal when it counts.
