Welcome to Quiz: Who Are You From 'Gilmore Girls' Based On Your Food Preferences

Gilmore Girls is a fun mix of comedy and drama. It shows lives of Lorelai and her daughter, Rory, in Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Relationships, friendships, love interests- it’s all there. And let’s not forget their obsession with coffee and junk food. Witty lines, sweet moments and characters that stick with you. Gilmore Girls is truly a cult classic.

Meet the characters from Gilmore Girls

Lorelai Gilmore

Lorelai is a whirlwind—coffee-fueled, pop-culture-quoting, and somehow both impossibly laid-back and annoyingly organized about the things that matter to her. She runs on sarcasm and late-night diner runs but will also wake up at dawn to color-code the inn’s event calendar, which is adorable and chaotic. She’s fiercely independent and maternal in this way that makes you laugh and cry in the same episode; also she hoards coupons like a badge of honor (true fact? maybe). Loves lane-side banter, hates slow Sundays except when she secretly binge-watches old romantic movies and cries at the same scene every time.

Rory Gilmore

Rory is the bookish, earnest brainiac who will quote obscure essays and then eat an entire cake when stressed—so studious and so human. She carries a stack of library books like armor, loves journalism, and somehow always looks like she just stepped out of a vintage sweater ad but also maybe forgot to comb her hair. Ambitious and loyal, she’s often thoughtful to a fault, dithering over big choices while also being quietly stubborn in ways that surprise you. Oh and she probably keeps notes in ten different notebooks and loses half of them, which is very on-brand.

Sookie St. James

Sookie is pure culinary chaos and sweetness—brilliant, dramatic, and the sort of chef who will flirt with disaster (literally, like a small kitchen fire) and then make you the best omelet of your life. She adores food more than most people love people, names her knives, and has a laugh that makes any bad day okay for at least five minutes. She’s effortlessly warm but also occasionally forgetful — she’ll forget to feed the cat because she’s creating a beurre blanc masterpiece, whoops. Truly a creative storm of energy who cares way too much about flavor combinations and not nearly enough about matching socks.

Lane Kim

Lane is loud with drums and quiet in weirdly tender ways; she’s the rebellious daughter who also spends hours sewing dresses and hoarding vintage band tees. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, obsessed with music (obviously), and simultaneously terrified of disappointing people she loves — which leads to hilarious secrets and late-night gig confessions. She collects comic books and has a secret stash of candy she denies owning, and she can be both dramatic and annoyingly practical within the space of one sentence. Also, she drums like her life depends on it and will judge your playlist with love and very precise sarcasm.

Emily Gilmore

Emily is elegance and precision wrapped in couture and razor-sharp opinions; she decorates a room by thinking three decorating contingencies ahead and will judge your china set with surgical efficiency. She’s deeply loyal to family traditions and maddeningly proud, yet there are moments where you catch her doing something unexpectedly soft—like preserving a silly memento or hoarding little notes from Lorelai. Her life is rules and rituals, tea at four, perfect table settings, and then somehow she’ll also hide a box of doughnuts in the pantry for emergencies (don’t ask how we know). Emily’s a blend of controlled power and secret nostalgia, which makes her terrifying and honestly kind of adorable when she cracks.

Paris Geller

Paris is a relentless, take-no-prisoners force of nature—ambitious, brutal with honesty, and terrifyingly competent in every stressful situation. She thrives on competition, makes color-coded plans for world domination (maybe just her term papers), and will scream at the proper angle of a comma if provoked — and then apologize awkwardly for yelling. Beneath the steel is this weird soft spot for small animals and a surprising fondness for romcoms she would never admit to during daylight hours. She’s precise, intense, and often contradictory—part controlled hurricane, part unexpectedly sweet paperclip collector.
