She makes choices that feel both brave and stupid in the exact same breath, and honestly that’s the point; she’s impulsive but thinks she’s being rational (or at least she tells herself that). Loves notebooks and late-night walks, sings badly under streetlights, loses her keys every other scene; little contradictions everywhere. Protector, reluctant leader, heart-on-her-sleeve type who holds the group together even when she swears she’s falling apart. Also, I swear she has a secret knack for remembering movie quotes and zero sense of time — delightful chaos.

Paula

Paula is pure, sharp-witted chaos in the best way — snarky, loyal, dry humor for days but with a surprisingly soft underbelly. She acts like she doesn’t care but will show up at 3 a.m. with pizza and a plan, and if you need someone to call out nonsense she’ll do it with one itchy eyebrow and an exhausted grin. Collector of weird mugs, secretly sentimental, hates crying but cries at commercials (not all the time? sometimes!). She obsesses over tiny details when she’s anxious and then flips to being impulsive and loud, so she’s unpredictable but dependable? Loyal to a fault, kind of a slow-burn hero, the person who acts last but hits hardest, if that makes any sense. He claims he hates attention but will quietly orchestrate everything behind the scenes, and sometimes loses his train of thought mid-sentence which is both endearing and slightly alarming.
