Welcome to Quiz: Which 'Toy Boy' Character Are You

Toy Boy spins a tale of Hugo, a young guy framed for murder. Seven years in prison, then he’s out. Time to clear his name. But wait, he dives into a messy world of lies, secrets and his ex-lover’s rich husband. Plus, there are those ‘Toy Boys’ – male escorts adding to chaos. It’s all about power, corruption and a dash of sexuality in Marbella’s glitzy scene. It’s a wild ride!

Meet the characters from Toy Boy

Hugo Beltrán

Okay, Hugo is that broody, ripped heart-on-his-sleeve kinda guy who you think you’ve got pegged and then he goes and surprises you — he’s a former dancer/stripper (yes, dramatic life) with tattoos and a stubborn streak a mile wide. He’s all about justice and revenge in one breath and about tiny, ridiculous rituals in the other — like he always carries a coin that means nothing and also everything. Protective to the point of reckless, but also the kind of person who will make you laugh at 3 a.m. with a terrible joke; somehow tender and feral, sometimes in the same scene. Honestly, he’s a walking tangle of loyalty and impulsiveness and I adore him even when he makes stupid choices (which is often).

Macarena Medina de Solís

Macarena is sharp as a blade and dressed like it too — high-powered, classy, the kind of woman who runs rooms and probably has twelve different versions of “serious blazer.” She’s ambitious, a little ruthless sometimes (oops? maybe), but also weirdly nostalgic about old family recipes — which she swears she never cooks, and yet you find a burnt pan in her sink once. She plays the long game, mentally three steps ahead, but her heart betrays her in the silliest ways: impulsive texts at 2 a.m., sudden decisions that shock everyone, including her. She’s complicated in that deliciously frustrating way: principled until someone she loves is involved, then rules are optional.

Triana Marín

Triana is the dogged investigator/straight-arrow energy — methodical, curious, and annoyingly persistent in the best way; the kind of person who will literally not stop until the file is open. She’s empathetic under all that professional armor (she cries at commercials, quietly), and she keeps a pocket notebook like she’s still in training school even though she’s not. Practical but with tiny eccentricities — collects old postcards, drinks terrible coffee on purpose — and she is somehow both cautious and brave at the same time. Also, she annoyingly knows exactly what you’re thinking and will call you out, which is impressive and terrifying.

Iván

Iván is the loyal glue — the friend who says the wrong joke at the wrong time but means everything he says, and who will park himself in the danger zone without blinking. He’s street-smart, practical, and has a soft-spot for the underdog; his humor is his shield and occasionally his weapon. He’s got survival instincts and surprising sentimentalism (he keeps a crumpled ticket stub from a show he loved, don’t ask how that got in his wallet). Also very occasionally melodramatic for no reason, like he’ll suddenly wax poetic about sunsets and then go back to talking about logistics.

Jairo

Jairo is pure theatrical energy — flamboyant, loyal to a fault, the kind of friend who will perform an impromptu number in a bar to distract you from your problems. He’s witty, sharp-tongued, and frustratingly optimistic, and yet somehow has this old-soul calm when things get dark (like, who taught him Zen?). He loves gossip but is the last person to betray a secret; he bakes terrible cakes with love and plans to open a bakery someday and also maybe a nightclub? Conflicting dreams, big heart, 100% dramatic flair.

Germán

Germán is the polished antagonist-vibes, smooth, controlling, likes things clean and arranged — his hair is always suspiciously perfect and his smile is a little too precise. He maneuvers people like chess pieces but has odd little softnesses (a plant he talks to, an embarrassing lullaby he hums when he’s alone — don’t say I told you). Cold but charismatic, he can charm a room and then quietly ruin your life in five minutes, which is impressive in a villainous way. He’s also weirdly superstitious sometimes, which makes him less monolithic and more like… a storm in a suit.
