Welcome to Quiz: Who Are You From 'Heartland'

Heartland tells story of Amy Fleming. She’s a young woman with a knack for healing horses. Her late mom passed down this gift. Life at Heartland ranch is full of ups and downs. Jack, her grandpa and Ty, her husband, are always there. Together, they face life’s challenges. The show shines with heartwarming tales, beautiful views and great acting. It’s like a warm hug for your soul.

Meet the characters from Heartland

Amy Fleming

Okay, Amy is the heart of Heartland and honestly it’s like watching someone who can talk to horses and also cry into a wool blanket in the same afternoon. She’s patient, stubborn in the best way, and has this healing touch that makes every scratched-up, terrified horse believe in Sundays again — but she also gets mad and impulsive, like, big dramatic-solution energy, which is fun. Loves the land, drinks tea from a dented mug, keeps an old sweater so worn you could name it, and will lecture you on horse psychology at 2 a.m. (she’ll probably forgive you later, unless you stole her carrots).

Jack Bartlett

Jack is the gruff, lovable ranch-legend grandpa who will scold you and then hand you the warmest pie you’ve ever eaten five minutes later. Old-school, practical, and stubborn as an old fence post, but also full of these tiny, almost embarrassing soft moments — like he keeps a drawer of kids’ drawings and reads them out loud when no one’s around. He’s the rock everyone leans on, though he pretends he doesn’t care who leans or when. Also he collects strange things? I’m pretty sure he has at least one weird souvenir he won’t admit to.

Lou Fleming

Lou is the free spirit with a soft spot and a habit of showing up in the most chaotic, perfect way; she’s messy, loving, and sometimes leaves half-finished projects (and cryptic texts). She left once — or twice? — and then proved she’s stubbornly devoted in an unpolished, human way, which is kind of the point. She’s creative, hugs too hard sometimes, makes questionable jam, and is fiercely protective when it matters, even if she forgets your birthday on purpose… or not.

Ty Borden

Ty is the quiet, steady type who probably hates attention but will quietly fix your truck and your heart in the same evening; gentle giant vibes to the max. He has a roughish past but is patient with animals and people, ridiculously reliable, and somehow cooks a mean casserole when stressed (who knew). He’s soft with the ones he loves, awkward in big crowds, and will say one perfectly blunt thing that changes everything. Also he’s tossed around very corny dad jokes at least once, which I will never stop defending.

Tim Fleming

Tim (RIP, yes I cried) — the dad with a big laugh and horse-obsessed soul who shaped so much of the ranch’s spirit; very much a legend in memory and in those home-video moments. He was daring, a little reckless, and adored his family and horses like oxygen, which made his disappearances in the story hit so hard. He taught more by doing than lecturing, and even his mistakes felt educational, which is kind of a comforting/infuriating combo. Sometimes you get the sense he left more half-finished projects than advice, which is peak dad energy.

Georgie

Georgie is the spitfire teenager who says the wrong thing at the right time and somehow always wins, even if she pretends she didn’t try. She’s ambitious, a little sassy, loves animals and fashion equally, and will nerd out about horses in a way that’s both adorably earnest and low-key competitive. She’s got this smart mouth and a superhero-level tendency to bounce back from drama with cupcakes and a plan. Also she’s surprisingly sentimental about tiny things — like saved movie stubs — which I didn’t expect but now it’s my favorite fact.
