Welcome to Which Grimm Character You Are Most Like quiz

Grimm ran from 2011 to 2017 serving up supernatural drama in Portland, Oregon. It follows Nick Burkhardt, a homicide detective who learns he is a Grimm, part of elite hunter lineage. Nick can see the monsters hiding in plain sight and must keep humanity safe from their wicked ways. With folklore, mystery and crime-solving, “Grimm” spins a tale packed with suspense, action and surprising friendships. It’s like a rollercoaster ride through a fairy tale gone rogue.

Meet the characters from Grimm

Nick Burkhardt

Nick is the reluctant hero-detective who somehow carries the weight of an entire secret world and still remembers to do his paperwork (sometimes). He’s calm, analytical, and weirdly human for a guy who sees monsters for breakfast — empathy is his superpower, honestly. He’s always juggling logic and lore, trying to be the good cop and the Grimm at the same time, and yeah that leads to him being stubborn and surprisingly sentimental. Expect quiet determination, lots of late-night research, and a tendency to underplay how much he’s changed the lives of everyone around him.

Hank Griffin

Hank is the gruff, coffee-fueled partner who swears at everything until he learns the score and then swears some more — loyal to the bone. He’s the old-school cop who doesn’t trust fairy tales but would punch a wall for his friends, which is somehow adorable. Hank’s got this blunt honesty mixed with a weird soft spot for the chaos that follows Nick, and he’s more perceptive than he lets on (don’t tell him I said that). He’s a walking contradiction: stubborn, protective, surprisingly gentle with dogs and small plants.

Monroe

Monroe is the reformed Blutbad who adores tea, baking, and interior design like it’s his calling — yes, a wolf who owns a teapot and possibly a scented candle business in an alternate universe. He’s gentle, endlessly patient, and basically the moral compass with a crooked smile; also very deadpan at times, which makes him even better. He hates fighting but will wreck you if needed, and he has a weirdly Victorian taste in table linens (not kidding). Charming, domestic, and quietly fierce — he’ll build you a bookshelf and then save your life.

Sean Renard

Renard is the magnetic, quietly dangerous captain with politics, secrets, and a permanent poker face — and somehow he’s always three moves ahead. He’s suave and commanding, the kind of person who gives orders that feel like suggestions until you realize they’re not; also dramatically stylish, like he owns every trench coat ever. He plays both sides, very confused moral compass, sometimes cruel, sometimes unexpectedly protective — like a moral weather vane. There’s a chill charisma about him and a backstory that keeps getting darker (in the best, most frustrating way).

Drew Wu

Drew is the forensic whiz who brings the levity and the weird trivia — genuinely the best peripheral brain on the team, and he notices the tiny things you’d miss. He’s upbeat, a little quirky, and forever poking fun at bureaucracy while somehow loving it, which is oddly endearing. Drew is loyal and earnest, the kind of friend who will stay up doing charts with you and then drop a ridiculous meme at 2 a.m. He’s also way more observant than he looks; don’t underestimate his instincts, even when he’s joking about lunch.

Bud Wurstner

Bud is the lovable, sometimes awkward cop who moonlights as Hank’s conscience and comic relief and then surprises you by being brave as heck. He’s good-natured, loyal, and slightly overwhelmed by all the supernatural nonsense — yet he always shows up, flustered and determined. He’s got this goofy charm, a soft spot for romance novels (I might be projecting) and questionable dance moves, but he’ll also stand firm when it counts. Honestly, you want Bud on your side; he’s clumsy bravery personified.

Adalind Schade

Adalind is the complicated Hexenbiest who shifts from villain to tragic antihero and keeps you guessing the whole time — dramatic, ruthless, vulnerable, pick a lane, she picks them all. She’s fiercely ambitious and also a catastrophically devoted mother, which makes her actions messy and oddly sympathetic. Her manipulation skills are top-tier, but then she’ll have a moment of regret and you feel it in your chest (annoying, because you were supposed to hate her, right?). Basically intense, unpredictable, and somehow heartbreakingly human under all that dark power.

Juliette Silverton

Juliette is the sweetheart-turned-chaotic-force with an arc that feels like someone hit the universe’s “complicate everything” button. She starts as the caring, animal-loving vet who brings normalcy and warmth, and later flips into something much darker and more conflicted — which, no spoilers, is wild and painful to watch. She’s loyal and loving when she can be, but trauma pushes her into choices that make you want to scream and hug her at the same time. Soft voice, unexpected steel; she’s tragic and strong and totally messy in the best possible TV way.

Rosalee Calvert

Rosalee is the bubbly spice-shop queen who is practically a walking encyclopedia of Wesen remedies and heartfelt pep talks, and yes she bakes the best cinnamon rolls, probably. She’s warm and chatty and somehow runs a vast secret network out of a tiny shop that smells like herbs and chaos. Don’t let the bright smile fool you — she has fierce loyalty and a mysterious depth, plus a knack for turning folklore into survival tips. She’s the comfort of the team, with an edge and an obsession with pleasant jars (I said it), and she’ll clap you into gear when you need it.
