Meet the characters from Lost Girl
Bo Dennis
Bo is a walking, talking whirlwind of chaos and heart—basically a succubus who learns how to be a person as she goes. She’s fiercely curious, flirty when she feels like it, and ferociously protective of her chosen family, which she collects like really messy souvenirs. There’s this gorgeous mix of reckless joy and actual, un-pretentious empathy that makes her irresistible and dangerous at the same time. Also she loves old rock songs and will drop everything mid-conversation to dance in the kitchen, then apologize profusely three minutes later because she forgot someone’s birthday—classic Bo. She’s messy and moral and confusing and brilliant, and honestly you never quite know if she’ll save the day or start a new one just for fun.
Dyson Thornwood
Dyson is the gruff, honorable werewolf cop who smells like rain and old books—okay sometimes he smells like takeout, but mostly like rain. He’s the kind of man who will stand in a doorway and silently decide your fate, then make you tea and apologise for being scary. Loyal to the bone, territorial, with a surprisingly soft spot for kittens and terrible romantic gestures, he’s the show’s solid rock. Underneath the brooding exterior is someone who’s constantly trying to balance instinct with making the right choice, and that tension is deliciously frustrating.
Lauren Lewis
Lauren is the brilliant, exasperated scientist who treats everything like a case study—humans, fae, and apparently her own emotions. She’s logical to the point of sarcasm, always three steps ahead and armed with a notebook and too much coffee. But don’t be fooled: she cares in a very precise, practical way, and she’ll do the most inconveniently thoughtful thing at the worst possible time. She’s brilliant and awkward and kind of terrifying when she’s tired, and definitely has a secret sad playlist she never admits to liking aloud.
Fitzpatrick ‘Trick’ McCorrigan
Trick is the old, endearing, unbelievably clever Blood King who runs the Pylea of mysteries from behind a teacup and a thousand conspiratorial smiles. He’s grandfatherly but also manipulative in the best ‘I’m just looking out for history’ way, and he remembers everything—except sometimes where he put his glasses, which is adorable. There’s a weight to him, centuries of decisions and regrets, and yet he’ll crack a terrible joke one minute and pull a legal loophole the next. He loves rules almost as much as he loves bending them, which is confusing but also very Trick. Also, he’s suspiciously good at knitting and keeps a secret stash of outrageous hats; I’m not saying he’s eccentric, but yes I am.
Kenzi Malikov
Kenzi is the small, ferocious, snarky thief with a heart the size of like three handbags she definitely didn’t steal—maybe four. She talks fast, lies faster, and will absolutely ruin the mood with a joke and then bail you out of jail five minutes later. Her loyalty is ridiculous and irrational and pure, and she’s the messy emotional center everyone underestimates until she kicks the door open and saves the day. She loves glitter, terrible romcoms, and has an inexplicable collection of novelty keychains, while simultaneously swearing she hates anything fancy. Contradictions are her brand—she hoards lipstick but hates shopping for dresses, and she’s somehow the bravest and the most terrified at the exact same time.
