Meet the characters from The Book of Boba Fett
Boba Fett
Okay, Boba Fett is that sulky legend who somehow wears a mountain of armor like a cozy sweater and also like he’s on an attitude runway — gruff, taciturn, and impossible to ignore. He’s a veteran of bad decisions and brilliant plans, equal parts cold-blooded bounty hunter and weirdly domestic landowner (yes, he runs a palace now — can you believe?). Honestly he’s got this code, a weird honor thing, but then will also casually shoot first and ask no questions later, which is the best kind of contradiction. Also he collects helmets? Or just one? I can never remember, but he definitely has a thing for battered gear and quiet revenge.
Fennec Shand
Fennec is surgically precise and stylish — like, she moves like a knife and dresses like she’s about to star in a noir holo-drama. She’s Boba’s right hand and fully earns it; lethal, patient, and emotionally low-key (but kind of dramatic in an “I only raise one eyebrow” way). She loves the job and also maybe secretly loves dessert? No, I’m serious — she would absolutely finish your pastry while you weren’t looking and then reload her blaster. Sharp, loyal, and possibly the only person who can give Boba an eyeroll and still win the fight.
Madam Garsa
Madam Garsa (I think everyone calls her Garsa Fwip? okay whatever) is that smooth-talking, silk-wrapped socialite who runs the place with a smile that’s half-velvet and half-razor. She knows everyone’s gossip and probably has receipts — she’s charming, slightly dangerous if you cross her, and suspiciously fond of giving unsolicited advice. Sometimes she feels like a confidante and sometimes like the mastermind plotting a small revolution; both are true, obviously. Also she might have a soft spot for stray animals, or was that a rumor started to get her to pet more banthas? Either way, very memorable.
Mayor’s Majordomo
This guy is pure protocol — buttoned-up, slightly officious, and allergic to improvisation, which is hilarious given how chaotic the city is around him. He exists to make the mayor look important and will narrate your failure with the kind of politeness that stings, like a parole officer made of velvet. He’s efficient in a bureaucratic way but also side-eyes everything (and has a mild obsession with seals/stamps? like he’s got one for “urgent” and one for “probably urgent”). Kind of the unsung comedic backbone of the administration, even if he would deny it with a stiff bow.
Announcer – Torture Droid.
The Announcer/Torture Droid is deliciously creepy — cheerful mechanical voice, terrible news, and a flair for dramatic timing that would make a game show host jealous. It reads sentences with unsettling politeness and sometimes throws in a jingle? Not consistent, but that’s the charm — terrifyingly polite and oddly theatrical. You expect a monotone robot, but instead you get a small performance, which is worse, because it cares about the drama while you suffer. It’s a machine, but also kind of a character with stage presence, and yes I think it mispronounces names on purpose.
