Captain America

Captain America is that impossibly steady moral compass who somehow fought in WWII and also gets strangely nostalgic about soda fountains. He’s earnest, stubborn, and built for leadership — the kind of leader who gives pep talks and silently plans three backup strategies while being all “no, really, we’re fine.” He hates when people cut corners and yet will break an entire plan to help one kid, which is maddening and heroic at the same time. Classic old-school manners mixed with battlefield instincts, plus a weird fondness for cheesy rom-coms (yes, apparently) and an awkward relationship with modern tech — though he can totally look things up on the internet when he wants to. Basically a shield-wielding idealist: rigid when he needs to be, surprisingly adaptable when it matters, and always trying to do the right thing even if the world makes it complicated.

Iron Man

Iron Man is pure spark — a genius billionaire who wears his bravado like a second skin and builds the most ridiculous, glorious toys to solve problems. Tony Stark is equal parts showman and brilliant tinkerer; he’ll roast you one second and rewrite your arc reactor the next, usually with a sarcastic soundtrack in his head. Underneath the jokes and blinding confidence there’s a messy, anxious person who saves people because he can’t stand the idea of being helpless — and also because he secretly loves the applause, don’t deny it. He hates rules unless he made them, collects gadgets and ridiculous nicknames (and maybe an action figure of himself — how could he not?), and can be infuriatingly charming while also being utterly selfish in the best/worst ways. So yeah, armored showboat with an unexpectedly giant heart: flashes of genius, sudden sacrifices, and a million terrible puns — all wrapped in obsessive tinkering and a need to fix everything (including himself).
