Welcome to Quiz: What Clark Kent's Superpower You Need Based On Your Dreams

Superman is that guy from comic books, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. He popped up in 1938 and became a big deal. Known for strength, speed and flying, he is basically a celestial overachiever. Born on Krypton, he lands on Earth as a baby. A nice couple raises him in Smallville, Kansas. Undercover as Clark Kent, he fights for truth and justice. With his powers, he saves people and takes down villains. Classic superhero stuff.

Meet the superpowers from Superman

Super Strength

Okay, Super Strength is that person who walks into a room and you just feel the gravity change — big presence, big heart, bigger biceps (probably). Loves lifting heavy things for the fun of it, also lifts emotional burdens for friends, maybe a little too quick to shoulder the world. Can crush a car door like a soda can but somehow struggles with opening a jar of pickles, which is both hilarious and confusing. Tends to wear comfy boots and insists on carrying everyone’s groceries, even when you protest.

Super Speed

Super Speed is pure kinetic energy, like sunshine in shoe form — impatient, bright, and always three steps ahead of themselves (and sometimes five ahead of the conversation). Talks fast, thinks faster, leaves trails of half-drunk coffees and good intentions everywhere; also really into micro-sprints around the block for fun. They’ll zip to the store and be back before you’ve finished saying their name, but will stop mid-run to rescue a lost kitten because, obviously. Also weirdly nostalgic sometimes, like they’ll sprint to a childhood tree and just stand there remembering, which makes no sense but okay.

Super Dexterity

This one is tiny, nimble, obsessive about details — the kind of person who can untangle a knot while blindfolded and also build a tiny mechanical bird out of toothpicks. Artistic hands, steady breath, a delight for fiddly tasks and delicate rescues (ripping the perfect seam-free patch job on your favorite jacket, you know?). Paradoxically clumsy in big gestures — trips over thresholds, drops mugs, but will perform microsurgery with chopsticks if asked. Has a drawer full of precision tools and a mismatched sock drawer, because of course.

Flight

Flight is equal parts exhilaration and daydream, like someone who lives for open skies and also for soft blankets — hilarious mix. They’ll soar above traffic and make everyone jealous, then complain about a slight breeze messing with their hair for twenty minutes, which is very them. Free-spirited, curious, and a bit of a loner on long stretches, but will swoop down to bring you a ridiculous souvenir (a smooth rock, a postcard, a misplaced seagull feather). Loves clouds and playlists and sometimes forgets the mundane things like keys, wallet, common sense.

Invulnerability

Invulnerability gives off solid rock vibes — steady, calm, utterly unflappable in a crisis, kind of the “call me at 2 AM” friend, but also the friend who forgets to text you back because they just… don’t get flustered. They’ll take hits no one else can and smile like it’s a Tuesday, yet cry at the most unexpectedly sentimental commercial, which is stubbornly adorable. Protective ranger energy, low drama, high loyalty; also has a secret horror of strawberries for reasons they can’t explain. Tends to collect band-aids despite never needing them.

Super Vision

Super Vision is all about seeing the world in insane clarity — miles away details, minute textures, the color of your childhood house at dusk, the font on a book shelf three blocks over. A little nosy? Maybe. Ravenously curious and sometimes uncomfortably honest, they notice the tiny things you think no one noticed (they noticed). Weird little flaw: spectacular at spotting things far away, occasionally misses the massive thing directly in front of them, like their own keys on the table. Loves sunsets and conspiracy documentaries equally and cries at film credits for no good reason.

Heat Vision

Heat Vision is drama wrapped in warmth — intense, passionate, wildly expressive, and capable of melting cheese from across the room because of course they can. They burn bright; relationships, projects — everything either gets a spotlight or a scorch mark, there’s rarely neutral territory. Has to wear sunglasses indoors sometimes because the glare of their own feelings gets out of hand, and also likes to toast marshmallows with a gestural wink that says “I definitely meant to do that.” Surprisingly soft about small plants and will not, under any circumstances, harm a single houseplant (but may accidentally singe the pot).

Super Hearing

Super Hearing is the living, walking amplifying glass of emotions — picks up whispers, footfalls, the exact pitch of your lie and whether your dog is tired. Empathetic to a fault, they hoard other people’s little sounds as if they’re precious trinkets — street music, laughter, the click of a typewriter — and sometimes hum them in their sleep. Crowds can be a mess for them (overload city), so they have this ritual of wearing one ridiculous pair of vintage headphones that do nothing but look cool. Also hilariously selective about what they notice: can hear someone sneeze across three blocks but will completely ignore that you said “free pizza.”

Arctic Breath

Arctic Breath is the coolest person in every room — composed, chill, soothing, like a human A/C that you didn’t know you needed. Has this calming aloofness that can freeze a heated argument (sometimes literally) and then defrost it with an oddly timed joke. Secret tender streak: will freeze flowers to preserve them because they’re a romantic with a freezer drawer full of single roses. Loves winter sports, hates being warm for more than five minutes, but weirdly books spontaneous summer beach trips sometimes because they get bored (or restless — same thing).

Longevity

Longevity carries centuries in their pockets — patient, wise, a repository of dusty jokes and odd traditions, and slightly bewildered by the phrase “Do you TikTok?” They have stories for everything and can make you feel like a novel character in a ghost story told over tea, and yes, they do collect matchbooks from places that don’t exist anymore. Occasionally gets nostalgic to the point of being stubborn about old rudeness, then surprises you by learning the newest slang or an absurd dance move perfectly. Calm and slightly mysterious, with the soft compulsion to write dates everywhere (including napkin corners and sometimes, confusingly, their shoe).
