Meet the characters from Moon Knight
Marc Spector
Marc is this battered, brilliant mess of a man who somehow keeps getting back up and then apologizing for it five minutes later — emotionally knotted but heroically stubborn. He’s a former merc, a reluctant protector, and he wears guilt like an old coat that’s somehow still warm, even if it smells weird sometimes. He can be introspective and basically a walking therapy session, yet also will punch a statue and then cry about it (or maybe cry first, depends on the day). He makes terrible coffee but insists he’s a great cook, collects weird postcards, and always looks like he slept in his jacket even when he swears he cleaned up.
Arthur Harrow
Harrow vibes like a disturbingly calm cult leader who read all the right books and forgot to feel empathy — polished, persuasive, and absolutely convinced he’s doing the moral thing. He speaks in gentle, clinical sermon-strokes and then first-degree-microaggressions your entire worldview (in a single breath), which is equal parts unsettling and fascinating. He collects relics and quotations and probably has a hidden drawer of carefully labeled regrets, but also weirdly likes kittens in the morning (I know, shocking). He’s patient to a fault, which makes his sudden rage feel colder and therefore somehow more dangerous.
Layla El-Faouly
Layla is iconic — fierce, capable, and that sort of dry humor that slashes right when you least expect it; she’s an archaeologist with a heart of stubborn gold and a talent for not taking anyone’s nonsense. She’s the kind of person who will calmly defuse a tomb trap, roll her eyes at your plan, and then be the first to laugh at a ridiculous joke (sometimes to her own confusion). Loyal to a fault, practical, and secretly the team’s emotional compass, she also keeps succulents in unlikely places and says she doesn’t cry but definitely cries during commercials. She’s skilled, grounded, and somehow both endlessly patient and quick to throw a perfect one-liner that leaves you blushing.
Khonshu
Khonshu is the lunar god who’s equal parts guardian and grumpy landlord — ancient, theatrical, and wildly dramatic, with a voice that echoes and a temper that’s honestly kind of theatrical in a good way. He’s obsessively devoted to the idea of justice (his brand of it) and will sulk like a god-brooding teenager when people don’t meet his standards, which is oddly endearing. Wise one moment, petty the next, and prone to cryptic metaphors about sand and tides, he’s mysterious as moonlight and not above a flair for dramatic entrances. He collects oaths like other people collect keys, and yes, he definitely has opinions about capes.
Billy
Billy is the small, wounded, unpredictable kid living inside the chaos — equal parts terrified and oddly brave, with toy cars and bedtime-story logic mixed into very real, heavy feelings. He’ll flip from adorable to all-out chills in a sentence, which makes him heartbreaking and thrilling; you never know if he’s going to hug you or wreck the place (both are probable). He likes cartoons and crayons and will demand a cookie with the fierce authority of someone who’s seen too much but still believes in stickers. He’s messy, sincere, and carries a tiny, stubborn hope that feels both fragile and unreasonably loud.
Bobbi
Bobbi is practical, kick-ass, and with a sharp tongue that will disarm you faster than any gun — she’s the no-nonsense agent type who’s seen the worst and makes a sassy joke about it for survival. She’s confident, loyal, and surprisingly sentimental about tiny things (like hotel soaps and regrettable romance novels she swears are “research”). She drinks her coffee black, keeps a folder labeled “never again” and will both rescue you from a fight and scold you afterward for getting into it in the first place. Tough exterior, soft-ish center, and a dry laugh that sneaks up on you — basically the team’s grounded chaos manager.
