Welcome to Quiz: Which 'Covert Affairs' Character Are You

Covert Affairs is a drama series. It follows Annie Walker, a young CIA trainee. She gets a surprise promotion to field operative. Why? A past relationship turns her into a valuable asset. With her handler Auggie, Annie dives into a wild world of espionage and politics. She juggles personal ties while uncovering secrets about her own past. It’s a rollercoaster of thrills and twists.

Meet the characters from Covert Affairs

Annie Walker

Annie is this bright, kind-of-clumsy ball of nerves and determination who somehow becomes unbelievably competent (like, don’t ask how — she just does). She’s curious, brave, and terrible at small talk but excellent at improvising when a plan falls apart — which it does, often, because she’s impulsive and also stubborn in the best way. She loves lists and color-coding everything yet loses her keys at least once an episode; also she’ll bake you a cookie and then disappear into a rooftop chase two minutes later. There’s a real softness under the adrenaline — she cares a ton and messes up sometimes, but keeps getting back up.

Auggie Anderson

Auggie is the lovable, razor-smart blind tech genius who somehow knows every hacker trick and every pop-culture reference (and will roast you for forgetting a 90s cartoon). He’s protective, sarcastic, and endlessly patient with Annie’s chaos, though he can suddenly go from jokey to painfully serious in a heartbeat. He collects dumb action figures and names them (yes, they have personalities), hates being underestimated, and is secretly the emotional anchor of the team. He’ll tell you he’s fine and then emotionally demolish you with one honest line — it’s confusing and wonderful.

Joan Campbell

Joan is the cool, unflappable higher-up who seems like she measures people in seconds and rarely smiles, but don’t be fooled — she’s fiercely strategic and deeply, quietly loyal to the people she trusts. She has that ‘don’t waste my time’ vibe and also a weird soft spot for ruined romances in movies (I swear she cried once, maybe), and she plays the long game, which makes her terrifyingly effective. She keeps secrets like a monk keeps vows, yet somehow has a drawer with terrible scented candles and three different passports — go figure. She’s the kind of boss who will chew you out and then slide you a sandwich; terrifying and maternal at the same time.

Arthur Campbell

Arthur is Joan’s husband and the mellow, cerebral counterweight to Joan’s steel; calm, witty, and quietly affectionate in a way that sneaks up on you. He’s smart, kind, and annoyingly steady in crises (the kind of person who has a plan and a cup of tea — except he says he hates tea, but then drinks it when Joan’s not looking). He’ll listen, make a painfully good observation about human nature, and probably fix your sink while offering a metaphor about espionage. He seems ordinary — retirement-hobby ordinary — but there’s an unexpected backbone there, like he knows more than he lets on and giggles at bad puns.
