Meet the characters from Misfits
Curtis Donovan
Okay, Curtis is that rare thing: the responsible mess — like someone who put the team on their back and then spent an hour apologising for it. He’s ex-athlete vibes (tracksuit king, probably owns three identical trainers), stubbornly moral, and always trying to fix everyone’s mistakes even when he secretly wants to bail to Jamaica or whatever. He’s low-key hilarious in a dry, “I will sort this out” way, but also gets completely undone by romance or guilt — messy and noble at once. Also he collects socks? Or maybe that was a joke. Either way, leadership energy with bad puns.
Rudy Wade
Rudy is chaos, in the best possible way — loud, unpredictable, and heartbreakingly sincere, like a friend who will steal your chips and then hold you while you cry. He’s literally split into versions of himself (and yes, that sounds wild and it is), so one minute he’s a lad-about-town and the next he’s deep and apologetic and you’re like, okay, how do you even wash your hair. He’s filthy-adorable, says gross stuff and then drops a profound line that ruins you, and he somehow makes shabby jumper-tier fashion look like performance art. Also he has an uncanny knowledge of sandwiches and funeral etiquette, I swear.
Simon Bellamy
Simon is the broody heart, the quiet kid who sits in the corner and definitely knows more than he lets on — introverted, awkward, secretly heroic, and somehow both creepy and deeply comforting (don’t ask how, it just is). He evolves from loner-invisible-to-you into someone who actually does stuff that matters, and when he gets intense you can tell he means it; he’s the kind of person who overthinks everything and then acts in a strangely decisive way. Loves old sci-fi, probably has a collection of tiny notebooks, and is bafflingly sentimental about pigeons or light towers or something small like that. Also, weirdly tender in a way that makes you forgive him for being a dramatic emotional weather system.
Kelly Bailey
Kelly is pure fire with a soft centre she’d never admit to — loud, fierce, unapologetic, and always ready to punch some sense into a situation (or a person). She’s loyal to an absurd degree, maternal in a tough-girl way, and sometimes surprises everyone by being the emotional anchor when it counts; also she swears like a sailor but can bake a mean tray-bake on a Sunday, contradictory much? Her fashion is aggressive, her comebacks are sharper, and she’s the friend who will drag you out of a downward spiral and then make you wear a ridiculous headband. She’s chaotic but honest, and you love her for it even when she steals your last biscuit.
Alisha Daniels
Alisha is full-on glam and complicated — party girl energy with a sudden, disarming vulnerability that sneaks up on you. She’s confident, flirtatious, and a drama magnet, but also painfully human underneath: big personality, bigger feelings, and a surprising propensity for late-night self-reflection (often while applying lipstick). Fashion-forward, a little vain, and fiercely protective of her friends, she’ll roast you and then somehow save your life five minutes later. Also, she claims she’s terrible at plants but somehow keeps one alive on her windowsill — witchcraft, I tell you.
