He’s patient, quietly intense, deeply empathetic, and will shoulder guilt like a second coat until it frays; also he has this weird obsession with making perfect playlists of sad piano music. He remembers history like a slide show and often acts like a protector who plans three steps ahead, even if that planning leads to terrible sacrifices. Sometimes he’s awkward with modern slang and other times he stares like he can see through you, so there’s this goofy-zen/tormented split that’s honestly endearing.

Damon

Damon is chaotic charm personified — sarcastic, wild, and magnetic, the one who turns every tense room into a combustible scene with a single smirk. He’s reckless on purpose, like he’s daring fate to keep up, but under the snark is actual loyalty that will shock you when it shows up (and it does, usually at 3 a.m.). He’s the firestarter, the catalyst who forces truth out of people, and he loves theatrics — pours espresso like it’s a performance, wears sunglasses when it’s inconvenient, and possibly collects ridiculous tiny hats for reasons unknown.
