Sun Bak

Sun is a fierce, disciplined powerhouse who can go from corporate boardroom glare to full-on karate assassin in a heartbeat, and honestly that mix is everything. She loves control (and spreadsheets? or was that a weird fan thing I made up — probably she does like lists), but also has this soft spot for her family that will wreck you if you underestimate it. She’s secretly stubborn about small pleasures, like eating street food even when it’s bad for her training (lol), and she keeps her vulnerabilities locked behind that iron jaw. Watching her try to balance duty, anger, and tenderness is like watching a volcano with a tea kettle — explosive but oddly domestic.

Nomi Marks

Nomi is a brilliant, stubborn hacker with this huge heart and a sarcastic streak that will cut through nonsense like butter. She’s fiercely political and loving and also deeply private, but somehow manages to be warm and hilarious even in the darkest moments (and yes she can throw a mean prank). She’s loyal to a fault, protective of the cluster, and also annoyingly good at baking? (maybe that’s Amanita’s influence). Kala Dandekar

Kala is devoted, kind, and always trying to do the “right” thing — professionally a chemistry brain and emotionally a giant soft heart, which makes her so endearing. She’s practical and faith-oriented but also wildly romantic and a secret rule-breaker when love demands it (she’ll stir her meds like a potion and whisper to them, I’m convinced). She’s calm in crises and will literally try to reason with a bomb if needed, which is both terrifying and adorable. There’s this quiet confidence about her that makes people lean in; also, she hoards tea bags for reasons.

Riley Blue

Riley is the dreamy, melancholy DJ who seems like she wandered out of a melancholy song and refuses to leave, and you get why — music is literally her soul. She’s simultaneously fragile and ferocious, carrying trauma like a scar that’s also a map, and she heals people with playlists (true fact? maybe). She’s warm with a wry sense of humor, and she can go from Icelandic night-club queen to weepy philosopher in two beats. Also don’t be fooled by the soft voice — she’s made of steel when it counts, though she might cry afterward while making hot chocolate.

Wolfgang Bogdanow

Wolfgang is the broody, dangerous, heartbreakingly loyal safecracker who is basically the show’s chaos wrapped in a leather jacket. He’s violent when he has to be, but also loves reading poetry and has a soft spot for tiny, weird animals (like he absolutely would rescue a pigeon and then apologize to it). He’s complicated — suspicious, territorial, impossibly romantic in a terrifyingly intense way — and yet somehow clumsy with affection (cue awkward kisses). Lito Rodriguez

Will Gorski

Will is the moral center, intense and steady like someone who trains in the rain and later gives perfect advice over coffee. He’s a cop, yes, but the thing you notice is his persistence and his enormous capacity to feel other people’s pain — protective to the nth degree. Quiet, observant, and sometimes painfully stubborn, he’s the one who will stand up alone if it means saving someone else. He hums old soul music when stressed (probably), and will absolutely make you keep your word.

Angelica Turing

Angelica is the brilliant, chaotic architect of everything — the enigmatic, reckless spark who started the whole cluster thing and did it with style and terrible, lovable rules. She’s part scientist, part punk philosopher, and part emotional hurricane, and you never know whether to trust her notes or her diary entries (which she alternates between). She loved, she broke things, she fought systems, and she made choices that echo forever; honestly kind of a legend and also deeply flawed, which makes her feel human. Also she probably had a stamp collection and hated being tidy unless it was on purpose.

Amanita Caplan

Amanita is Nomi’s calm, fierce anchor — stylish, smart, and also quietly relentless when it comes to protecting people she loves. She’s an activist and a caregiver and also the person who will bake a ridiculous cake at 3 a.m. and then lecture you about policy change right after (multitask queen). She’s tender and unflappable but has this dry, cutting humor that lands at the perfect moments; she can disarm you with a look and then hand you a trauma-informed self care plan. Also she hoards novelty mugs for reasons that make no sense but are perfect.

Hernando Fuentes

Hernando is gentle, brilliant, and the kind of art teacher who makes messy collages and deep peace at once — soft-spoken but ferociously brave in quiet ways. He’s the steady center of Lito’s dramatic world, tender and endlessly patient (and also suspiciously good with plants). He teaches, he loves, and he speaks in metaphors that you didn’t know you needed, then surprises you by being a righteous ally when things get dangerous. Also he might secretly keep a scrapbook of terrible movie posters and we all love him for it.
