Juleka Couffaine

Juleka is that quietly iconic goth friend who somehow says more with one look than most people do in a week. She’s shy and low-key but fiercely loyal — like, she’ll stand up for her crew in the most deadpan way, which is hilarious. Loves poetry and weird little charms (and probably hoards hair accessories she never uses). There’s this odd mix of surly and soft that keeps you guessing — aloof but secretly sentimental, I swear she has a hidden cupcake collection.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng

Marinette is chaos and heart stitched into a pink-and-blue package — clumsy, creative, and the kind of disaster who can also save Paris. She designs clothes (constantly), talks to her parents, and spends half her life sewing and the other half tripping over her own feet. As Ladybug she’s decisive and brave, which is hilarious because she panics about the smallest things sometimes. She’s ridiculously romantic (ugh) and stubborn in equal measure, and absolutely refuses to compromise when it comes to people she loves. Bonus detail: she’s probably got glitter in every pocket and a sketchbook that should be classified as a weapon of mass adorable.

Zoé Lee

Zoé is zip — loud, sporty, full of sass, the friend who drags everyone into one more ridiculous plan even at midnight. She’s got this confident energy that borders on competitive (not always serious, more like playful, but actually also serious?). Fiercely loyal and protective, she’ll throw a punch if you mess with her friends — but also maybe bake cookies afterward because she’s weirdly domestic sometimes. Small thing: she hates losing but will forgive you five minutes later if you bring snacks.

Luka Couffaine

Luka is the calm, cool musician with a secret marshmallow center — so mellow you think he’s untouchable until he smiles and then everything melts. Plays guitar, writes songs about feelings he refuses to say out loud, and somehow manages to be both a great big brother and an awkward romantic interest. There’s a patient, healing vibe to him, like soft rain, but also a streak of stubbornness when it comes to protecting people. Also, he probably owns more beanies than socks and will definitely judge your playlist (gently).

Alya Césaire

Alya is a one-woman news network who runs on caffeine, righteous anger, and a very loud sense of justice. She’s obsessed with journalism (obviously), runs Ladyblog with detective-level intensity, and can sniff out a mystery like a bloodhound on espresso. Overconfident? Maybe. Extremely brave? Definitely. Dramatic? Always — in the best way, she is a walking scream and a cheer squad. She’s loyal to the bone and ridiculously proud of her friends, which makes her both the ultimate hype woman and the person you call at 2 a.m., and she probably has a conspiracy board in her room and mismatched socks for luck.

Gabriel Agreste

Gabriel is the picture-perfect fashion genius with a serious, distant aura — every gesture calculated, every outfit immaculate (duh). He’s a strict, composed father and a designer who obsesses over perfection until it becomes kind of terrifying, honestly. There’s a cold, secretive side that hides heartbreak and obsession, which makes him magnetic and unnerving at the same time. He cares about control (a lot), but also has these tiny, weirdly tender moments with Adrien that contradict the whole “cold mastermind” vibe, and he probably owns an alarming number of gloves and insists on tea with exactly three sugar cubes — no negotiation.

Alix Kubdel

Alix is pure kinetic energy — skates, zips, has a million hobbies and the kind of laugh that makes you want to join in even if you’re tired. She’s adventurous, a little bit geeky about history and gadgets (timey-wimey vibes? maybe), and always first to volunteer for something slightly reckless. Optimistic to a fault, she will drag you on a treasure hunt and then make snacks when it goes wrong. Random detail: she mixes vintage sunglasses with neon sneakers and somehow it totally works.

Adrien Agreste

Adrien is the awkward golden boy — model looks, genuinely kind, and so polite it hurts sometimes, like please relax a little. He’s sweet and steady, loves cats (big surprise), plays along with his father’s strict rules while quietly resenting them, which gives him this lonely, soft edge. As Cat Noir he’s flirtier, flippant, and way more impulsive, so there’s this great split between the public smile and the private, deeper guy. Protective, romantic, and a little dramatic when it comes to Ladybug — also very dramatic when faced with crumpets? (random, I know). He probably keeps a little memento collection of important moments, but denies it when confronted.
